From the scholar who founded process mining to the practitioners leading global solution vendors and Korea's industrial front lines — meet the experts shaping the present and future of process intelligence.
Wil van der Aalst is an Alexander von Humboldt Professor at RWTH Aachen University, leading the Process and Data Science (PADS) group and the Chief Scientist at Celonis. He also serves as honorary director of the “Wil van der Aalst Data & Process Science Research Center” at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH).
Yonghan Lee is a Director leading sales at Celonis Korea. He co-presents with Wil van der Aalst, sharing his extensive consulting experience and a range of Process Innovation (PI) case studies.
Julian Lebherz is a Strategic Solution Advisor for APAC in SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM). With over a decade of experience deploying process intelligence solutions across industries — from manufacturing to life sciences — he shows through his concept of “Process Atoms and Company Memory” how organizations can turn process knowledge into a lasting asset.
Gia-Thi Nguyen heads Solution Advisory for APAC in SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM). Previously Head of Operational Excellence at Siemens, where he spearheaded a major process mining initiative, he is a global expert in process excellence and digital transformation.
Tony (RaeSung) Park heads Solution Advisory for Korea in SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM), supporting process innovation for Korean enterprises with the SAP Signavio portfolio at its core.
Youngill Kim is CEO of Puzzle Data, Korea's leading process mining company, where he has driven process innovation for major organizations including Shinhan Bank and SK Telecom through the company's self-developed platform, ProDiscovery. Puzzle Data has been named a Representative Vendor in Gartner's Market Guide for Process Mining for nine consecutive years, making it a leading process mining company in Asia.
Jinyoun Lee is a Principal Engineer at the Digital Twin Center, Samsung Electronics, where he serves as Head of Part. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Engineering from POSTECH. His research focuses on operations research, artificial intelligence, digital twins, and optimization for semiconductor manufacturing.
Bongsu Cho is a technology leader who has driven enterprise-wide digital transformation through AI, Big Data, and cloud innovation as a Vice President at LG Electronics. He currently spearheads the expansion of EVA, a physical-AI platform designed to enhance industrial safety and operational efficiency, and specializes in translating complex technical capabilities into tangible business value to reshape the industrial landscape.

Enterprises are racing to adopt AI and automation, yet automating broken processes only scales up the chaos — and too many AI initiatives fail to deliver real returns. Wil van der Aalst, the founder of process mining, joins Yonghan Lee of Celonis Korea to show how process intelligence turns automated chaos into intelligent processes — drawing on object-centric process mining and real-world Process Innovation (PI) case studies to make enterprise AI truly pay off.
Traditional process mining is tied to a single-case perspective and cannot fully capture the complex interactions of real businesses. Object-centric process mining (OCPM) models the relationships between multiple objects and events as they truly are — untangling complexity and opening a new path to enterprise-wide AI/ML.
Autonomous, AI-driven operations only work when agents understand the business context they act in. This session introduces an approach that breaks processes down into their smallest reusable units — “process atoms” — and accumulates them as an organization's “company memory.” It shows how scattered process knowledge can become a shared context layer that grounds AI agents and forms the foundation for continuous improvement and automation.
This talk examines what process excellence means in the age of AI and shares real-world applications across industries using ProDiscovery, a Korea-built process mining platform. Attendees will see concrete results achieved by diagnosing and improving processes with data.
A case study of applying process mining to semiconductor fab operations — among the most complex environments in the world. It shares hands-on experience uncovering bottlenecks and anomalous flows in massive manufacturing event logs and improving process efficiency.
