Using Object-Centric Process Mining to Unravel Complexity and Enable Enterprise-Level AI/ML

Wil van der Aalst is a full professor at RWTH Aachen University, where he leads the Process and Data Science (PADS) group, and serves as Chief Scientist at Celonis. Widely known as the “Godfather of Process Mining,” he is one of the most-cited computer scientists in the world (H-index 182, over 155,000 citations). He is an IFIP, IEEE, and ACM Fellow, and in 2018 received a Humboldt Professorship, Germany’s most prestigious research award. His research spans process mining, Petri nets, business process management, and model-based analysis.
